Welcome to Bethel Church. We’re situated in downtown Kingston Ontario, where we’ve been “Loving God Passionately, and Serving Others Significantly” since May 21st, 1874 (136 years!)  Come join us, just a short walk away from Queens University, and let us help you Grow in Intimacy with God, Grow in Intimacy with Others, and Grow in Acts of Service on your journey.

We are a wheelchair-accessible church with a vibrant congregation blessed with diversity in age, heritage, and overflowing with talent and gifts from God.

From September 11th on, come out and join us for Sunday worship at 9 a.m. (with children’s programs) and 11:00 a.m., and contact us for any information you can’t find here on the website – we’ll be happy to help!

CAUTION! Please keep an eye on your belongings while at Bethel – we are a downtown church with downtown issues, and people have had things stolen. Also, ALL GROUPS AND USERS – the East Wing entrance is to be kept LOCKED at all times during the week. So someone must let in the group and then lock the door. THANKS!

On Sunday, November 6th, Michelle Tepper of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries will be speaking at Bethel on “I am not ashamed, because I know Whom I have believed.”

THEN, on Tuesday, November 8th, she and her colleagues will be at Queen’s:

Does what I choose to believe in really matter? In a world full of different views, ideologies, and faiths, who’s to say what’s right? Doesn’t science leave no room for God? If there is a heaven, are there not many ways to get there, and if there is a God, doesn’t all spirituality point to Him? Shouldn’t I just believe in whatever makes sense and feels right to me, as long as it helps me and other people?

If any of these questions, or similar thoughts, have ever crossed your mind, or if you think you have an answer as to whether or not belief is important, then come along and bring your questions! Dr. Andy Bannister, Michelle Tepper, and Nathan Betts of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries will be addressing some of these questions and will be discussing the relevancy of faith in today’s society. Whether you are atheist, agnostic, Christian, Jewish, Muslim…or are just unsure, this event will get you asking the hard questions about the role of belief in your life and in our culture today.

Together we will look at how our beliefs are formed, where they could lead us, and how we can make sure that what influences us most is truly something worth basing our lives on. So bring your questions and bring your friends!
