Governance & Leadership
Governance

Bethel has been an incorporated organization since May 1, 2019. A Board of Directors oversees the operational aspects while the Elders' Council provides spiritual and ministerial leadership. The two bodies work together to ensure the mission and vision of the church are realized. The Senior Pastor is the chair of the Elders' Council, and the Senior Pastor and the Church Administrator are ex-officio members of the Board of Directors. Each member of the Board of Directors and the Elders' Council serve a 3-year term, which is renewable. The Board of Directors hires all staff, including the Senior Pastor.
Pastoral Staff: In addition to the Senior Pastor, Bethel has a full-time Family Ministries Pastor, Jamie Stinson, as well as a full-time Youth Pastor, Connor Price. Bethel has also employed an Associate Pastor, who oversaw worship, discipleship, and life groups. This position is currently vacant and thus life groups are overseen by Pastor Jamie Stinson and worship is coordinated by volunteer leader, Will Walker.
Support Staff: Keri Oosterhof is our full-time staff member who oversees Media and Communications, while Carmen Gauvin-O’Donnell is our part-time Church Administrator. Steve Cousineau is our full-time Building Superintendent, and also manages Bethel House. Pastoral and support staff bios are here.
Other Key Leaders: We rely on committed leaders to lead and fill our worship teams, and to facilitate many of our life groups. Other team leaders include those involved as greeters, tellers, AV technicians, Coffee and Conversation hosts, Sunday School teachers, and youth leaders. A list of the ways that congregants can serve the church and community is here.
