The departure of our beloved Pastor Mark is quickly approaching! After serving at Bethel for 14 years, Pastor Mark’s last day at Bethel will be Sunday, May 29, 2022.

Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 11:30AM there will be a Farewell Celebration for Pastor Mark & Rhonda held at Bethel Church.

Please save this date and review the following details and information.

Farewell Presentation

A farewell presentation for Mark & Rhonda will be held in the Sanctuary around 11:30AM. (After the church service.)

All are invited to attend in-person, however if you can’t be there in-person the event will also be live streamed at http://bethelkingston.online.church

Farewell Luncheon

Following the presentation, a lunch reception will be held in the Gym. To help us prepare food, please RSVP by June 5 if you plan to attend the Luncheon.

(RSVP is only requested for the Luncheon; if you will attend the Presentation, but not the Luncheon, you do not have to RSVP.)

Photographs

We are collecting photos of Pastor Mark to use at the Farewell event. Do you have any photos of Pastor Mark, or Rhonda? Perhaps from a wedding, funeral, child dedication, social event, etc.

Please email to keri@bethelkingston.com or upload to this OneDrive folder before June 5. And please indicate in event and year (approx.) in the name of the photo.

Love Offering

We would like to bless Mark & Rhonda with financial gift to help send them off in the next chapter of their lives. There is no obligation for you to contribute to the love offering, but if you would like to contribute financially, details on how to give will be posted here soon.

Contributions to this love offering are not tax receiptable. These will be personal gifts, collected separately from Bethel donations. Do not include your love offering as part of your normal tithing; details on how to give will be posted here soon.

The love offering will be collected in advance, and given to Pastor Mark & Rhonda on June 12. Contributor names and amounts will remain anonymous.

Cards & Letters

If you would like to write a card or letter for Mark to thank him for his ministry at Bethel, or to share your memories or encouragement, a card box will be available on June 12.

If you cannot attend on June 12, you can drop off or mail your card to the church in advance. (314 Johnson Street, Kingston, ON, K7L 1Y7), or email a letter to keri@bethelkingston.com.
