The Gospel (Part 1): Jesus

Preacher:
Passage: Luke 4:16-30

The terms "gospel" and "good news" are very familiar to Christ-followers, representing the good news that Jesus has died for our sins!* But when we read the accounts of Jesus' life and teaching, we find Him using the same words BEFORE his death. So what could He be talking about? Take a listen as guest pastor Peter dives into this question.

---------------------------------------------

*The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over his enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy!

If you believe and accept this good news, you can pray a simple pray to God, something like "God, I know that I have sinned. I am reaching out to you because I want forgiveness. I believe that Jesus' death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Saviour. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"
