How long have you been involved in church? Whether a long time or a short time, we have all seen that the church is transient place with people, pastors, and programs coming and going over time. But in Matthew 16:18 we hear Jesus declare "I will build my church" with a sense that it is something bigger and more long lasting. So what exactly is the church? And why does it matter to us today?
