Are you a new or current volunteer at Bethel? Are you thinking of volunteering at Bethel in the near future?

You are invited to an upcoming Plan to Protect training session!

What is Plan to Protect?

Plan to Protect is an annual mandatory training session for all volunteers at Bethel, regardless of their serving role or position. Its purpose is to train all volunteers on abuse prevention and protection for the young, youth, and vulnerable in the church.

  • New/first time volunteers at Bethel must attend a 2-Hour ORIENTATION session within the first few months of volunteering.
  • In subsequent years, volunteers must attend a 1-Hour REFRESHER session at least once a year.

Orientation and Refresher sessions are held several times throughout the year to allow ample opportunity for all volunteers to be trained. All session are in-person; online training is not available.

These fun and fast-paced sessions are held by Carmen Gauvin-O’Donnell, a certified national trainer with Plan to Protect.
