In our third Sunday of Advent, we turn to Luke chapter 1 for the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, a couple who were faithful to God their entire lives, even through long years of waiting and sadness. One day God shows up unexpectedly with a message that they had been waiting for...and then Zechariah promptly questions it! In this sermon, guest pastor Doug challenges us to examine how we live out seasons of waiting and expectation, and to think about how will respond to God's voice when it comes. Will we question it like Zechariah, or will we welcome it like Elizabeth?
