In a time when people worshipped gods and idols made by their own hands, Paul reminded the church in Ephesus that when Jesus was manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3: 16), he exposed the inferiority of all other gods.

Today we may not bow to gods carved of stone, but we still hold on to many idols of our creating. This Christmas season, let's stop holding onto these inferior gods and put our whole trust in the one true God!
