Before we get to the seven letters to the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 & 3, we must first understand who it is that these messages are coming from. In Revelation chapter 1 we discover Jesus revealing himself to the apostle John, and to all readers, so that we know he is trustworthy and that we can believe what he tells us!
