Jesus’ first and greatest commandment to us is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37). This command is easy to recite, but it’s not always easy to live by. In Revelation chapter 2, we find a letter to a church who had abandoned their love for the Lord and needed to remember, repent, and rekindle the flame. In today’s sermon we are challenged with the same question, both as a church and as individuals: how’s our love life?
