Sometimes we get stuck in actions, choices, or sin patterns that we know are not in step with being a disciple of Jesus. How do we go about "detoxing" from these? Are we scared to have that confessional conversation with God? In 2 Samuel 12 we see King David being confronted with some of the horrible choices he made, and in Psalm 51 we see how he (...eventually...) brought it before God. From this story we learn so much about who God is, and how the discipline of confession can truly bring restoration and joy!
